Key Objectives:
- Create a large outdoor dining area for guests to enjoy their meals and congregate.
- Seclude the area so guests can have privacy from other guests passing by on near-by paths and roads.
Project Scope:
This project had many aspects that created a challenge to design. In order to encompass the size needed to accommodate guests and seclude each table from other guests, a unique design was created. Wagner & Co. formed a large patio in an irregular shape to allow for planting all around to achieve seclusion. A particular distressed paver was used to accent the rustic design of this 5-star historic ranch. Large moss rock boulders placed around the patio offer a solid look, naturalizing the setting. A berm created next to the patio changes the elevation and character of the area. Native plants tie the beautiful location back into the forest that surrounds it.
